Yes, I guess you are right. I just got through my comprehensive exams, and I think I will have to sit again for 2 or 3 out of the four subject areas. And to think I could lose it all in this second chance - all because I spent half my leave which was supposed to be for preparing for these exams and put together a coherent dissertation proposal on smartbro's useless hotline. I'll give you news of the outcome of the exams - it was almost like walk in! Anyway, I gave the poor call center girls a lecture on opportunity cost. Will smartbro pay for lost time at the office, a lost degree and all that?
