Why do many people think is santa claus is fake?  | |  well i would assume the reason why many people would grant
credence to possibility of extraterrestrial life, and not believe in santa claus, is because santa claus is an establishment myth, whose history we are well aware of, secondly santa claus being a human having does things that are logically impossible, and therefore we can discount this stories as having prima facie implausibilty.The eistence of aliens,on the other hand to claim a certain level of omniscience.we would have to assert that we complete and total knowledge in the universe, thus justifying our denials of existence of aliens..

I tend to think that Santa Clause is, in fact, an alien. I have also often wondered if Santa Clause is Bigfoot during the off season. Think about that. It would explain a lot regarding Santa Clause and Bigfoot sightings. All the Bigfoot sighting reports usually happen in the warmer months. I think that's when Santa Clause is on a personal retreat, resting from his big night.
