Whats up with Gmail?  |

|  there has been talk of AOL and Yahoo bouncing emails . But is any one in here have a gmail addy and are you haveing trouble with it timing out on you while you are doing you emails.
This has been happening to me for over a month go to do a responce or something and I get that little egg timer up and have to wait for it to go off to continue
also goes withthe chat go to writting and it timmes out and y have to wait for it to go off then continue your conversation grrrrrrrrrrrr.
And some times it freezes my whole puter up so I have to reboot to get on with every thing. Is this happening to you or is this just happening to a few!

| |  I have seen other people making the same complaint but so far my "yahoo" has not caused me any problems. I have more probems with microsoft not responding and closing everything down. Since using Microsoft Vista from August it has happened over 400 times!

| | yup I have had problems with microsoft to doing the error messages send dont send if ya send it shuts down but I dont have vista I still have IE 6.So do you think this has to do with our emails in yahoo.AOL and gmails?

| |  My mom is having the same problem with Gmail. We thought it was her mac, but I guess not. She get's sso upset, 1/2 way thru with typing a response to someone, it totally blanks out on her & she has to start over.Mom said she's glad it's not her[she thought she was doiung something wrong]lol...Lori

| | as for Gmail chat ya have to keep gmail open to chat and I talk to SHelia the one in England on it also Margie sometimes Ya dont have to switch for I still have yahoo asnd stay signed in so if ya want to talk go ahead and IM me if I am in the room I will answer and in yahoo ya can leave it there and it dont go any where .

| |  Sounds like you have an excess of Spyware slowing you down. I'm wondering if it's coming from gmail...hmmm.
Do you have Ad-Aware by Lavasoft? It's a free download. It is really good and easy to use and you can set it up as one of your regular pc maitenance jobs.

but all is back to normal now Ihad a tech out here and found that the cable on the outside was losing me power so he has it all set back up right and every thing is working good now even gmail! so that is what it was not any spyware. I do have AVG that checks every thing and takes close to 2 hours to go thru every thing | | | |
