Despite your situation of being needy are you still happy?

People here have got different needs in life, other are overtaken by the situation to the point they forget about happiness.
Are you happy dispite everything? Yes me am happy am alive and I have strength to change my life for the better though right now am down.

Ah Needy!!! Well who is not needy in this world darling??? Right from the billionaires to the pavement-dwellers…everybody in this world is needy. Only the needs differ, the quantity and quality of needs, the urgency of fulfillment, the intensity of wanting. Otherwise the bottomline is same for all of us. Having told this to myself clearly and understood my ability of achievement, I consciously try to keep myself happy. I have set my priorities, my limitations and my yearnings and I try to stay within my circle. I also remember that on my happiness depends the happiness of my family…my hubby who’s working his pants off for us and my only child to whom I am the world. I cant afford to crib all the time like a sulking child and make them unhappy for no fault of theirs.

Hello friend,
There is a difference between needs and wants.
Its only the poor who are needy, billionaires have wants only......meaning they only want to add more to their billions. But pavement dwellers are need.....they need shelter, food and cloths.

I'm definitely not the best off. I do have a roof over my head, a family, food, a partner. I think I'm pretty well off even if things do suck sometimes and the cash is tight, at least I have a home, when some people don't even have that luxury. Sometimes it sucks, but it helps thinking and knowing that you may be bad off but there is always someone out there that is worse off than you are.

Hello dear kwenge. I think that I am still happy though I am still needy for many basic things in life. I am still trying to work hard to get it fulfilled so long as I am alive and I am trying to make my life to the fullest as possible though life is not easy and even hard to me. I believe that there is nothing that cannot be achieved so long as we are persistent in it. Thanks for your discussion.

We are still happy regardless of struggling financially. We appreiciate what we have more and even though we have to work harder for what we want we always get it in the end :-).

I am happy despite all the road blocks in my life and all the changes that has happen. There are lots of times where things go bad or that I need certain stuff and none of those go my way but all in all I learned. I learned from each experience that I have in life and hopefully I have used them to educated the ones I love and help them become better people as well as help myself be stronger and seek out life on a positive note.....
