1.  ljegbers (5699) | 9 months ago |  I can say I like Judge Judy because she calls a spade a spade; however, when you get cases of family suing family - it kind of knocks the show down a peg or two for more of a Jerry Springer format.
I like Judge Judy, but I don't agree with the family cases. To me that's more of a drama case than anything else.
As far as what do I think of family suing family in general? Well, I think it's sad when it's done, but even sadder when it HAS to be done. Guess you always hurt the ones you love.

| ljegbers (5699) | 9 months ago | Oh yeah, she can only go with the cases that she gets. Can't fault her for something out of her control. And I agree. Sueing a family member isn't pretty, but I think it's sad that it has to come to that because some famiy member screw each other over.
I know a family right now that is in that situation. The parents co-signed a loan for their son to go to college. The boy refuses to pay it so the mom had to get a second job because the college is garnishing her wages. She got a second job and they sold all but one of their cars because of the insurance/gas. Nice family huh. | |

They should try to sort it out themselves. If thats not possible then they should get a neutral party involved to help them out.

| 7. coffeeshot (1988) | 6 months ago |  It's very sad that families fight with eachother but to actually take someone you're related to to court is just abhorrent. family is supposed to be there for you no matter what-people you can rely on. To actually have to bring the law against someone you should love unconditionally is terrible. Unfortunately it happens and most of the time I find it's a dispute about money. Money makes the work go around and unfortunately tears family apart. It sure makes for depressing television!
