Do You Like What You Drive More Than What Drives You?

The Managing Director of the company where I work likes vehicles more than anything and i began to wonder why the man does so, I kept asking why the man likes what he drives instead of what drives him. Does it mean that what a man drives is more important than what drives him? Do you like what you drive more than what drives you? What do you think that could drive a man? Someone once said that what matters is what drives a man and not what the man drives, so do you agree with the saying? Tell us your views and opinion.

My analysis of the expression is you should respect a person for their thoughts and not their material items. But in your example the guy is just a bit excited about a new toy. Two totally different things, then again he may just like to brag a bit. LOL
