What makes people fight in relationships?

why is it when your in a relationship we tend to fight over stupid stuff. What makes us do this? I know full moons can cause fights, PMS, Male PMS but when we fight over something so stupid WHY DO WE DO THAT TO OURSELVES?

I think there's usually something bigger at hand but you can't bring yourself to talk about it with your partner, even though both realize the need to discuss the problem, so the two people snap at each other about the stupid things.

I think the reasons why you fight are lack of communication, differences in culture or values, expecting too much from the other party and taking the other party for granted. Sometimes couple fight because of money matters. With these reasons perhaps the better option is to talk things over and when there is no meeting of minds- both or all parties have to meet half way and agree on what option to take to resolve the conflict.

These short temper and irritation in the character is inherited from your ancestors.It is in their genes.If you are not wise enough to know and rectify the shortcomings you are in trouble.

I have no idea..I have been married for years and years and it still is going on. I hate it. It is stupid and makes no sense to me. Sometimes I think being alone is better than someone getting angry over petty, stupid things. :(
