The Golden Carabao - Marinduque Myth

The cooper mines in Marinduque had a myth that there is a golden carabao who lives in the old church. I had a chance to visit Marinduque and spent Christmas and New Year there. One Christmas Eve while inside the Church for the Midnight mass - my third eye opened and I saw a Golden Carabao - walking in the center isle and going towards the altar. Believe it or not. - the Gold in the mountain was said to be his - manure - made of Gold.

What a very interesting myth... i have never heard of such... so thank you for sharing it here... Marinduque is a one of the nice place in the Philippines... it has this certain mistique that makes people just want to visit it or know more about it...
