Okay this definitely isn't 120% discussion... I wouldn't mind if you all thought it was somewhere in the abyss of not so great discussions (at like -4000% percent). Anyways, I ran into this one with some of today's browsing. http://www.nbc33tv.com/news/health/11200516.html Male Birth Control Pill was one of the top research interests at 2007 American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Annual Meeting and Exposition. The pill apparently without the myriad of side-effects that plagued previous incarnations/forumlas in the research phase. It'll be interesting to see health implications (good, bad, short-range, long-range) based on prior knowledge of this and the existing pill for females. Even societal implications of the item will be an interesting development. Also Blackberry Extract was the second of top research interests, particularly for general health, potential cancer treatment/reduction, antioxidant properties. I've always had an interest in blackberries and their uses for health. I remember its already used for antioxidant/anti-toxic properties along with vision health. Now there is a significant stride towards cancer research and anti-inflammatory research using this item. Very good!...in my opinion. Both are potentials, but still promising.

The blackberry extract could be promising. The male birth control? We women are supposed to trust creatures who can't even remember to put the toilet seat back down!? Ha! I don't think so.

Careful Foxy. :) On the other side of the coin the same thing is being said about women. I guess its all a matter of perspective even in a joking or serious tone =P

Exactly my point though, taken seriously or funny. If women can't even remember enough to be trusted to take a pill...and I will admit to being one of them which is why I gave up even trying to pretend I would...then what are the chances men will be any better. Except the difference is, for some stupid reason society assumes the woman made an honest mistake (the men that have been tricked I'm sure feel differently but that's another story) but can you just imagine what could happen if a man forgot and impregnated a woman over that mistake? There will be total outrage over her forced pregnancy, women's right groups will enraged. Is that really someplace we want to see society go? Men get a bad enough rap already, putting something like birth control in their hands like this just seems to be opening up a HUGE can of worms.
