I am in a college famous for its academics and highly disciplined, children coming here are competitive in nature and spend more time studying, then enjoying what is said to be the best four years of one's life???but the thing is they offer nice placements and a secured future, so tell me whether i should regret joining such a college or accept my fate as it is for my better only

1. seagoddess28 (510) | 7 months ago | Congratulations on being in a school that is strong academically with highly discipled students. You must be a very smart and gifted young man to be accepted into such a college. I think the "best four years of one's life" in college are well spent in developing your brains and character, and unfortunately, some students fritter the time away and waste their resources by not applying themselves to their studies. You will find that you have chosen the better way of studying hard when you get the nice job offers coming your way. Good luck with your studies and I hope you find a happy combination of enjoying both your life in college and studying for your degree.

I suppose it can be tough to be around people who are so competitive and just want to study and not have a fun time, but once these 4 years are up and you have secured yourself a good well paid job, then you will have many years to do the things you want to do. I wish you all the best!

| 3. vulcan1234 (14) | 7 months ago | It depends...what do you want to do? I got accepted to 3 of the 4 major military academies and decided not go. I didn't apply to any Ivy League schools because of the cost so I don't know if they would take me. Now I'm in a normal University....still somewhat hard because of the majors I've choosen but I'm sure it could be harder. If you enjoy studying, learning, and hard work then you should continue. If you are in this college expecting to make alot of money...you might want to to rethink your decision. While sure you get the prestige of a good education...your preformance in your field and not you degree will determine your fate. All and all...do what makes you happy. Whatever gives you the most satisfaction is the path you should pursue.
