I recommend "Mane N' Tail". It makes the fur of my dogs very soft and fluffy. (I have one Spitz. You can imagine how fluffy she is) =D Please buy only the original as there are many imitation of that product.

There are all kinds out there. I have tried many and have found that Hartz® INFUSIONS™ Moisturizing Vitamin Shampoo for Dogs & Puppies works the best. It is safe for dogs of all ages. This shampoo nourishes the skin and coat with micro beads that contain vitamins A and antioxidant Vitamin E, to help promote a healthier coat. I use it on both my dogs. One is small and short hair and the other is big with long hair. It works well for both. My big dog is allergic to fleas and this shampoo seems to sooth her. You can find it at Wal Mart for about 5-8$ depending. Merry Christmas!

A dog groomer I know uses Dawn Dish Soap. She says it is not harmful to the coat if you are only bathing them every 6 weeks or so. For frequent use I would use a dog shampoo but Dawn takes the grease out of the fur pretty good as well as grease of your dishes.
