can you guess the age of american people just by their lookings?

I asked a friend who was living in USA for many years if he can guess the age of american people just by their lookings?
He said it's very difficult. Because he is Chinese not a native. I don't know if a native American people can get their partner's age just by theirs lookings?

For me, it's very hard to guess the age of people in general, not just American people. Everyone thinks my hubby looks younger than I do. He's 38 and I'm 34...lol Oh well, maybe that just means they think I look more wise than he does! Just joking!! ;)

I think Asian people looks younger for American.. Friends of mine are a chinesse and Thai. Everytime they go to Casino or bar, they always need to show their ID card. I asked my other Asian friends, they can easily guess whether their faces are older or younger then 18.
