America Ready for Another Former Actor as President- Enter Fred Thompson

Fred Thompson has been gathering steam ever since he entered the presidential race late. The former actor who most recently had been seen on NBC's Law & Order, is putting up a good fight for the republican nomination for president.
Romney's religion may hinder his attempt to get the party's nomination.
Giuliani who started out as the canidate whose nomination it was to loose, and loose it he has.
For now it looks like it may come down to a race between Thompson and Huckabee.

I don't know, I'm no republican but from my view isn't he running about 5th? I'd rank Guliani, Huckabee, Romney, McCain then Fred Thompson, but he's got Ron Paul right behind him. I admit though I could be wrong as I don't really care about the Republicans. There's no way they get back in the White House after 8 years of Bush's reign.

Who or what have you been listening to? Before Thompson officially announced you'd have thought he was the second coming but he missed his opportunity and took too long to make his "grand entrance" into the race and I think it's much too late for him now. As of today he hasn't made much of a showing in any of the primaries or caucuses so far and I don't really see things getting much better for his campaign. I'm not a Republican either but I'd be quite worried if I were; I don't see any of the GOP candidates having a prayer of getting elected.
