 What graces the top of your Christmas Tree?
is it an Angel tree topper you go for or a Star?
Why?
What does it look like?

my family always had an angel in my growing up years and I would very much like to keep with that tradition but have yet to find an angel figure that appeals to me
so we use an 8pointed star. I remember in our early marriage I tried to fashion one out of foil and cardboard - oh what a disaster. our current topper is frosted plastic (yick) wiod though.

We have nothing on the top o' our tree.
We usually have a home made star, but this year we can't find our decorations. We meant to make another star, but haven't gotten around to it and so the top O' our tree is bare, but you know what? It looks nice.

They usually make a picture of the family and they draw it on construction paper. I save it from year to year and add it to our decorations for the tree. We have a very tall vaulted ceiling so our tree is very very tall...allowing us to display the kids artwork from year to year. Its a great tradition and neat to see the kids pics improve every year.
