Are you one of the planners in life or take life each day as it comes.

I am very very scared of being alone or well settled in life in my old age. So I plan for my tomorrow as much as I can, thereby not having to spread my palm to anyone for my needs. However I have friends who dont care and live for the day, taking each day as it comes. What about you, and what is wise.

i'm a bit of both. ^__^;; i plan for my future. i actually worry about it. i don't want to be alone too when i get old. that's one of the things i am scared of, getting old alone. i can't stand the thought of me without someone taking care of me when i become useless and worthless. that is why i would like to die at the age of 70. ^__^;; i can work until i'm 65 and live for another 5 years, see how life would be for me, and then die after it. ^__^;; but i like living life and taking whatever it gives me. i live for the day most of the times. ^__^;; somehow i am a happy-go-lucky spirit and its just Que Sera Sera for me. LOL but still, i don't forget my responsibilities to myself and to my family even if i am enjoying life. ^__^ i think a bit of both would be good. ^__^

If one is financially sound, then one need not be alone. We can always get ourselves admitted in a nice old peoples home where we can be cared for and still have company. So it is very necessary to save for our old age. As for other things, I also tend to leave it to nature. I feel one should live as long as one is mobile and not a burden on others. So I would say 65-70 is ok. Thanks for replying. Its always a pleasure to read your thoughts.
