 I wonder why Amy's facade in their albums looks so pathetic and despressed. Is she emotionally disturbed? I mean, I really like her but the way she projects her image really triggered me to post such question. It reveals an emotionally or psychologically disturbed person.

 leanneg (116) | 9 months ago |  A lot of the time that's what comes out of someone lyrics and songs. She can be writing about past experiences with people she knows. I'm a writer myself and about 90% of the time I'm happy but I write dark.

| 2. sedel1027 (11250) | 9 months ago |  I don't think Amy is emotionally or otherwise disturbed at all. I am not even sure she evens writes the music herself or if it is a team or an outside effort. Plus you have to keep in mind they have an audience to cater to, so even if IRL she is all happy and dressed in beautiful colors, on the CD covers she has an image consultant that dresses her up and does her make up to go long with the image of the band.

From what I've read, she was raised very religious and a lot of her songs emote her feelings about life and God and probably have to do with her teen years when many of us are unstable and unsure of ourselves and the world.
