Happy New Year! Fruits that bring good luck?  | |  It has been a tradition, which I don't know how it really started, here in the Philippines to prepare 13 different fruits (some 12), preferably round during the New Year's eve. What do you usually prepare (if you do?)? Is it also a tradition in your place? I think it came from our Chinese friends who are in in the Philippines.
Well we usually have... apple, orange, pear, pineapple, grapes, green melon, mango (not round though), guava (the big ones).... what else? geeze can't remember... what else?

Well,this is the first time that I heard about this.Usually in my country,people would prepare some fruits but I'm not sure whether that should be 12 or 13 different fruits.
