I'm accident prone. I can't do anything without hurting myself. My coworkers flinch every time they see me get up and walk across the floor. :P The big one that I remember was falling down my apartment building's stairs and hitting my head on the front door, after which I proceeded to go into shock. I had been wearing huge clunky heels, and my heel caught on the edge of a stair. Thanks to that incident, the association of nosey people in my life banned me from wearing heels. I wore them on my wedding day, but my husband was getting ready to catch me the whole time. :P

Haha don't worry, I'll be good! :P Ah, yes, the bubble idea does sound like a good one, but I'm not sure how you'd entertain yourself. I mean, I thought about having a book, but then I could still get papercuts. :P

I too have a problem with Knives and since I had to get stitches in my hand...I am no longer allowed to pry apart frozen burgers! LOL There was another time when I was peeling potatoes with a paring knife and probably should have had stitches but didn't...I use a potato peeler now and hopefully I can not injure myself with that! LOL Happy New Year to you and your family! ~Heavens~

I'm not an accident prone person and I'm thankful for that. I have a cousin that is always in an accident. She accidentally slipped when she was at work and her arms hit something hard that's why she had to go to the hospital and wore a cast on her arms for weeks. She also been in a vehicular accident, she's in a public vehicle when a bus hit them and someone's head actually hit her in her jaw and it broke, she wasn't able to speak for days.

Yes, I would like more details, lol I used to be accident prone, have had many stitches for different things I have done. But I am no more, since I started dancing, I am more balance now.. I already gave my first real cut story in another discussion, so I will give one of my later ones. (which is kind of funny because I am taller in this later one, it's the same door, but one window pane up from the first time) I had a friend over and we were yelling at the neighbors, (yep, I was a brat then..lol) We had a storm door that had three different window panes and at one time I went to go out to yell, I missed the handle and my hand went through the glass. So I have stitches in my wrist and fingers from this accident that could have been prevented..lol (though lesson not learned in staying away from glass, I have a third story I may share later..:)

Oh Carmelanirel that sure is quite the story!! I must say that I have never ut my fist through a window.... I guess you deserve my story of todays episode so here it goes... My computer is in the living room and my son was watching TV...I'm not sure if you are familiar with the kids show "Four Square" but that was on and my son always likes me to sing with them and do the actions and so I was doing this but I was still in the desk chair and had not moved out far enough from the desk and so gouged my finger on the side of my pull out keyboard! So go ahead and laugh...I have broad shoulders! Thanks s much for sharing and Happy New Year to you and your family! HUGS ~Heavens~

I would like to say that I am an accident prone person. When I am doing something in the kitchen I always cut my finger. I so worried that I used to. Silly vegetable, but my knife too responsible. I am likely to suffer.

Well.. I used to always stub my toes on everything... I miss those days.. cause that was not to bad... But within the last 9 years... I fastwalked through the house stopped suddenly to avoid stepping slipping on a childs toy, I swept them over to the side with my foot.. but as I stood up had a black out... as my sister ran at me throwing toys across the room, I did backwards no hnded flip landed on the edge of a rideable toy firetruck went into a sideways diangle spin.. Landed on my left arm.. popped my shoulder out of join crunch the shoulder, collar bone, upper arm... It was a year before I could move my arm again without pain.. but Ironically I could move it.. So a year and 3 months later I go to the doctors for the shoulder as I had a huge lump in my bad.. Turned out it was just inflamed scar tissue in the muscles tendons and legaments bunching up, as I got a lecture from my doctor about how I should have gone to the doctors.. Then she asked me who reset me spine? .. I said what? She said who set your broken neck they did a good job at it... I remember when I fellt only thing I could move is my right arm and I pressed on my own spine where it hurt.. and then could move again... So wandered to my automin chair slept unknowingly for three days.. after having a fight with my mother as I told her I was really hurt... on the phone as she was on the phone the whole time it happened as I was rushing her an email to read to her that I printed off.. After HER computer got struck by lightning the night before... when I warned her to unplug it... ... So not only did the doctor inform me about my broken neck but she said you have had at least one severe electrical shocks.. and she said You know you were struck by lightning right? I danced around yes yes yes! She thought I was strange but I was struck by lightning never recieved medical attention because my family told me I was having delusions and was not struck... as I had a severe phobia of lightning until AFTer I was struck.... I said how many times? and looked at her pointed and counted and recounted.. She said as least 6 times for sure! I was like yay!.. I got proof on my bones tendons and legaments that I survived 6 lightning strikes... been struck three more times since then... So I am Lightning Strike Accident prone too... Then When my shoulder and arm finally healed.. What do I do.. Carry a heavy dressor droor down the stairs... I get ot the top step and Find myself skiing on my tip toes to the center of the stairs.. I thought whew.. Caught myself.. I'm okay now.. So I take a step with my next foot not realising a dryer sheet was stuck to my callous on my foot... weeee down goes the left leg. and the right leg twist backwards and goes up the stairs on a painful splits.. meanwhile I am still holding that dang dressor droor on my hands.. I could not move I looked upstairs at my toes literally stairing me in the face 1 foot above my head.... So I grab that dresser droor, and use it to push myself backwards up the stairs as I untwisted my leg gently... as I cuss up a storm...Then pull it in front of me drop the droor... and Go sliding sideways down the stairs headfirst into the wall... That hurt.. But my adrenaline was rushing so strongly I could walk on it for three days... Before.. Suddenly... I was on cruches from Feb - East last year... Just finally get ot walking again so happily this week about wiggling my toes... About going downstairs and hills formy first time without pain... So What do I do... I step into the office to get an aleve for other cramps.. making sure I step over the internet wire on the floor.. But do not realise it is caught on the door so I open the door more.. dang wire weaves itself through my toes on of course.. my bad foot.. I open the door it does nuise around my toes.. pulls my foot out from under me, as I hop around with my leg bent trying to undo the wire, that is bending my foot backwards gett the wire off then fall the wrong way stubbing my toes backwards.. on the same darn foot... and Came within 4 inches of my jaw flying straight into the edge of the huge metal desk, as I yell as Loud as I can and Purposely jump into a backwards roll to throw myself onto my back and off of my feet.. While doing to throw my other leg into the side of the dressor... Ugga.... I never used to be accident prone.. and out of all the years of close calls... I accidently leaped off train trestles without a scratch when I jumped the railroad track in my fast walk landed on the runner that is meant to help bounce cars over the tracks at the top of the hill, but it bounces me 15 feet into the air and I land at the base of a 20 foot hill... without injury... But yet I injury myself on the stairs? I used to leap out of 20-30 foot trees as a child... do my 4 minute mile or 25mph fast walk on black ice for years.. and I fell over a childrens toy.. Therei s one thing in common in all of these incidents is I was dizzy before they happened...And being rushed by a family members to bring something to them... It's not a wonder.. Why I also use Casey Jones as one of my nicknames althought chosen by my sister and grandpa not by myself.. I like him seem to always be in a hurry and heading for a crash! :).. Accident prone... it stinks - DNatureofDTrain

Never had it happen to me. When I have an accident it is not as simple and does a bit more, like stepping on broken glass in the basement, ooch! Oh and falling down the bottom two rungs of the stairs. I had wrist surgery then and to this day, still cannot write with a pen for more than ten minutes without the top of my hand hurting. I did fall on the ice once backwards, and once on my side, and I strained my legs, but they grew back together (ha ha!) So I am not accident prone, but I am in too much of a hurry and I am trying to lose weight.

I have a sore Ankle most days now because I passed out at work almost two years ago and it has never been right since...sometimes when I stand up from sitting for a period of time it gives out on me or climbing stairs... But it is something that I have to live with ~Heavens~

Accident prone - not me! That is sarcasm. I have cut my self cutting precut bagels. I have stabbed myself cutting and removing brownies from a pan, I have poured hot bacon grease on my hand. You can answer that question.

At times. I don't really do anything these days, it's more like once every full moon. My wife is the worst person, if you've ever heard of frank spencer she's almost the same bless her. giving her credit she's much smater but has the habit of making the most silly/funny problems arise. ~Joey

OUCH!!Oh yes,i am the queen of accident prone in my house, haha.I knock my shoulders on the corners of the wall, especially the bathroom one when coming out, stepping on nails, stepping on a sewing needle 2 nights ago,hit my ribs on the high back chairs at our table while passing(they are too close to the counters, haha!my excuse),jamming my fingers in dresser drawers or the closet doors, stubbing my toes on my daughters toys, especially stepping on my dogs hard chew raw hide bones that it seems to leave in my walking path all the time, tripping down the front stairs, falling oof the ladder the other day to remove christmas lights,it seems to never end and mind you there is not one day that goes by without me getting hurt(small)some how.I stepped on a nail a couple months ago, needed stiches.Sliced my finger with my boyfriend wrist watch attach when we were play wrestling, neede stiches and i have a nice scar, sliced my finger on hair dressing scissors, needed alot of stiches inside and out on my knuckle where you hold the hair straight up to cut.BUT the worst was when i played volleyball while camping, went to hit the ball, hit a tree instead bending my wrist backwards, sat there for 2 hours in pain because my boyfriend did not believe i hurt myself, drove 2 hours home from the camp site, went to the doctor,he said nothing broken.Suffered all night went back, had an x-ray,i had a green line fracture in my wrist and got a nice hard cast to beat my boyfiend with for making me suffer at the camp site because he did not believe that i broke my wrist and felt like hitting the doctor who saw me the first time the day before in the emergancy room, dummy doctor!!!!!But my mom broke her finger on the big metal industrial garbage can the next day when it accidently shut on her,she was laughing at me when i came home with a cast,so what goes around comes around mom!Hahaha! She had a thingy on her finger and it was her middle finger too!Haha, lolhehehehe! So sorry that this was so long and i dont blame you for not reading it all:) Peanutjar:) Peanutjar:)

I am accident prone too! If there is corner, I will run into it. If there is nothing on the floor, I will trip. I think the dumbest thing I did was close a garage door (one where you had to do it manually) and it was dark and I thought I was holding onto the handles but had put my fingers in between the slats and crushed and broke every finger on one hand. I didn't go to the hospital until the next day when my hands were all swollen. I was so embarassed!

Hi, heavenschild. Not so much. I have scraped my finger while washing my bathroom sink out once. It hurt so badly! I have injuries too, but the most important thing is not trying to do them ever again. One time, I cut my thumb on a can and I bled for almost an hour that day. I have never bled that much in my life. I no longer buy cans that has tuna in it. I now only buy, plastic pouches that carries tuna fish in it.

Ya. it will be annoying when we met with an accident. We will be thinking to shout , but we cant shout. Whenever you encounter such minor accidents inside your house frequently, buy a first aid box. Also , pray GOD that you should never encounter such miseries. For me , once i took a stool (furniture) when i was in 4th grade to take my remote , it fell on the thumb finger of my leg. I shouted and the treatment was horrible. The doctor removed my nail completely in the leg and then applied a knot and ointment. Still that SIGN of injury in my leg can be seen.
