If You were Wade Philips , what would you have done?

Your team is in the playoffs already. You are playing a rival team and they need to win to be in the playoffs. Would you play your starters for just a quarter, a half? What would you do?I would have played my starters for just a half and then rest them.What about you?

You have to rest the main guys at least the 2nd half.
Look at the Giants, they played all game w/ their starters and are still all banged up. I think their center might have gotten injured as well. I'll bet Coughlin is going to kick himself when a fresh Tampa smokes his battered veteran players next week. The Giants need to fire Coughlin, this happens every year. It annoys me and I don't even care about the Giants.

I am a Giant fan and I am hoping Coughlin would get fired .It is good to hear someone agree with me, especially a non giant fan.

I am a Browns fan but I pay attention to anything and everything that goes on in the NFL. The rate of success in the NFL goes up with longevity in the coaching spots. The Giants have been a somewhat consistent wild card team. Coughlin deserves another year or two to prove that he can raise the stakes. A new coach and system would be disastrous for the franchise and result in a 3-13 type record next year. What you need is a consistent quarterback. Sometimes Manning looks like his brother and sometimes he looks like Ryan Leaf. That type of play won't get you much farther than a wild card game. Give Tom another year or two.
