I rarely see overly obesse Chinese, Japanese (apart from Summa players) and Indonasians. I easily see fat Americans, fat Europeans and Fat Africans-what can explain this?

Hello dear academic friend. I think that this has a lot to do with the diet and genetics betwee the east Asians and the people from other parts of the world. Ok, take me for an example, I eat more vegetables than meat though sometimes I do eat meat, but not much because I think that our body needs to have fat from meat though. Thanks.

I think the genetic factor is very is very important, because, I know a few people who eat vegetables only but still appear fat in the West

Here in the East Asia, we do not eat so much of fat-product food like cheese, butter, chocolates, excess of meat and meat products, fast food, cold drinks, etc. But in the Western or European countries, they eat too much of cheese, butter, chocolates, excess of meat and meat products, fast food, sugar, cold drinks instead of pure water, etc. These are all bad stuff to eat; they give only fats. We Asians eat lots of vegetables and do not replace pure water with soft drinks that is why we stay slim.
