A record number of people turn out for the annual polar plunge at Minnesota's Lake Minnetonka.Would you do this? Have you done this? BUUUURRRR not me!

That sounds interesting. You mean people actually jump into the lake along with the polar bears? If that is the case and if I were there, i would definitely want to take part in that event.

The good people of Minnesota should be warned that, in the neighboring state of Wisconsin, there is somebody waiting for them with a butterfly net. Back in 1973, this neighbor of theirs was living in Indianapolis, Indiana, and he wanted to commit me to a mental hospital for a whole lot less. Therefore, let them be warned in case he decides to wander over into the next state! LOL Seriously, while I don't know that people who do this are necessarily certifiably-insane, I still think it's a little bit strange--and this is coming from a person who's a little bit strange. In short, I may be a little bit strange, but I wouldn't touch this one with a ten-foot pole--or a ten-foot polar bear, either! I guess that variety is the spice of life, what makes the world go 'round, yadayadayada... As my cousin, Denise, likes to say... "Whatever floats your boat!" Find me on land and wearing a coat!

There is absolutely no way I would ever do that! Not in a million years! I can't even handle taking a cold shower, much less going swimming in icy cold water out doors! Cold!
