Noticed itching in my neck after playing with my dog!

In the evening after playing with Buddy , i felt a severe itching in my neck it was were he licked me ... eww . Its formed a patch and is hurting now , should i consult a doctor , or will it become ok ?
Why did this happen , do you think my pet has some kind of infection on him?

You have to see a doctor,man! It might be infectious or some sort of allergic reaction... It's better that you hear what the doctor has to say.

Well i will see the doctor tomorrow , but i have applied silver sulphide cream to it , atleast the pain is no more . My dad is himself a doctor but he isn't able to point out what this is ?
