Do you an habit of taking Medicines without your Doctor's prescription ?

I have seen people taking tablets and capsules for fever and head aches without consulting any Doctor , all by themselves! Anti inflammatory tablets which are quite harmful if taken without medical supervision are also taken as if they are peanuts! In India worst part is that some Medical store persons themselves are promoting the medicines and thus they are encouraging people to have medicines without a qualified Doctor's prescription! What a pathetic scenario ! The people who are suppose to prevent such practices , they themselves are encouraging such things! Many medicines are very dangerous and they are to be consumed under medical supervision only! Long term use or wrong dosage of some drugs which may seem very common , can lead to serious problems like Kidney or Hepatic failure if not used properly! So one has to be very careful and let the Doctors do their job so that we all can live with a good health! By The way do you consume medication without consulting your Doctor ?
