One Missed Call - Worst New Movie Of This Year

It's funny how when people try to make an american version of a horror movie that originated from Japan. Especially when Ju-on AKA The Grudge came out and was a big disappointment! One Missed Call was a flop! Boring plot, people receive a miss call, the phone rings, they pick up hello hello can you hear me - blah blah - then someone dies. The japanese version was way better than this version. Don't even bother watching it in the Theatres because you'll walk out going, "ok..........what a waste of my money! boring!!"

I liked that movie. But perhaps that's because I never saw the Japanese version. I suppose when I do see the Japanese version I'll like it all that much more. But to be honest, I liked it. =] It wasn't as scary as it could be, but it was entertaining. I enjoyed watching it.

Does anybody else think that this seems like a knock off of The Ring movies? I am a major, major film buff and I don't even want to give this one a chance.
