Concerts in the Philippines in 2008  |

|  As 2008 started, I heard from friends that Linkin Park, Madonna, U2, Incubus and Maroon 5 will be having concerts here in Manila.
I am greatly anticipating Linkin Park, Madonna and U2. Anyways, I have been crazily wanting maroon 5 since 2004 to perform here, so, say Maroon 5 is also welcome in my list. :)
Anyways, the thing is I am not sure if Linkin Park, Madonna, Incubus and U2 will indeed perform here because, as I surf the net only Maroon 5 has a slot slated in Araneta Coliseum on March 9, which really is cool.
Anyways, do any of you know of concert schedules of the mentioned bands? If so, please, please, post them. :) I really hope to watch them this year.

| |  Madonna is one of my idols. I would love to see her in concert. If she would perform during summer or during break I think I can come. I've been quite busy at school and I'm in Iloilo right now. I can come if I have time. My family is in Manila anyway. I could ask my mom to buy me some tickets.

| |  i'm also really dying to see U2 live in concert here in our country Philippines. talks said that U2 might come here by September and might be held either in The Fort or Mall of Asia(MOA). with Madonna, i think they say it's going to be this December in MOA. but, one thing is sure - U23D is going to be shown in SM North at IMAX theater there. though no definite yet, but it said in the newspaper yesterday "coming soon". i will definitely watch this movie! :)

| |  I believe My Chemical Romance has just finished it's concert here, live at the fort just this 25th of January.
While other artist's who'll visit Philippines will be David Pomeranz, for his Feb. 14 concert at the PICC plenary Hall. Incubus will be here for the 9th of March, they'll be on be at the Araneta Coliseum and that's official!;)
These so far, were the one's that I have quite informations of. Not sure about the rest, but I do hope that U2 would come..

| |  I wish I could see U2 and Incubus but the tickets are really expensive. Perhaps I could try watching when money is not that tight anymore.
Try calling ticketnet for the schedule and fees. I think they have the list for these concerts.

| |  Wow, I would LOOOOVE to see U2 on concert. But the million dollar question is how much they would charge.
I waas planning to watch Maroon 5 on March 5, but the prices are so expensive.
A patron VIP seat costs like 10,000 plus. So imagine, how much a General Admission price would cost. Plus, according to my friend (who's been dying to get tickets for Lowerbox) the organizers are like holding all cheaper tickets for sale until the Patron VIPs get sold out ---> which is kinda fishy. Geez, money really talks huh.
Anyway, I'm watching Incubus on March 9. Patron VIP tickets is like half the price of Maroon 5's. So the prices are pretty reasonable compared to Maroon 5's.
But it really sucks, cuz I also would like to see Maroon 5 live.
