NFL Play Offs Have Begun - Do You Care?

I do for at least a little while longer. I was in a football pool for the regular season where I came in like 8 out of 20 so I didn't do nearly as bad as I expected I would but now that the playoffs are here I just can't bring myself to watch any other game but the Steelers Vs: Jaguars tonight. I'm hoping the Steelers win this one so I will have a reason to watch another game next week but if they lose then it will free up my weekends until the Super Bowl which I usually only use as an excuse to cook a lot of food and have a party. What about you, do you care about watching the play offs if your team is already out of the running for the Super Bowl?

That's the best part- they sit at home usually to watch so leave the kids and go- exactly what I do most of the time! :)

You are so cute. LoL I care for the purposes of being able to talk about football with the guys my honey works with. Other than that I use football games as an excuse to go shopping.

I am so not into football, but thank you for letting me know the Steelers are playing. I know not to call my cousin today because she wont answer the phone when the Steelers are on!

When did you live in Baltimore??? My mother loves when they're playing the Ravens down here because she know enough people that have tickets and someone will usually take her!

Nothing was worse than being a Steelers fan when I lived in Baltimore. After every game my family would call me to make sure I was still alive. LoL

I lived in Baltimore from 1998 until 2003. Actually I lived on Fort Meade but I worked in Baltimore all those years so it's close enough. Nothing was better than when I was working as an area manager for Penn Parking and I ended up having to run the tailgate lot for the Ravens game. I wore my Steelers Jersey. I got tackled by Edgar Allen and Poe and 2 out of every 10 cars through the gate tried to hit me. LoL Those were the days.

i really dont care about football, but since my husband does its always on tv. i just root for the best outfit.. drives my husband mad! its funny because the team i pick usually wins! He is a Bears fan, and of course they suck this year.. but what is even worse for him is that the packers are good this year. so, he is crabby about it!

The bears suck every year. My boyfriend went nuts when I started letting my 5 year old make my weekly picks in the pool I was in. He was more pee'd about it when my 5 yr old picked better than he did. LoL

I care a little too much...LOL. I'm a diehard Steelers fan and this is always my favorite, nerve-wracking time of year. It sucks right now though as my boys are down 21-7 in the first half.

Jacksonville up 31-29 with 37 seconds left. I'm sorry, I'm a Cleveland fan so I have to do some friendly trash talking. I stress "friendly" though. It was a crazy year wasn't it? Who would've thought the AFC North would've turned out like it did?

I almost had to take a nerve pill during the last 5 minutes of last nights game. To be fair though that was a BS call by the ref on a catch identical to the one Ward made. Cheaters never prosper. It hardly matters though because regardless if Jacksonville plays Indy or New England next week they are still going to lose.

I'm thinking it's going to be a Patriots Packers Superbowl this year.

As a Browns fan, I want to see Pittsburgh out obviously. New England, as far as I'm concerned are the least deserving team in the playoffs. I also would like to see both the Titans and the Colts knocked out. I say this because of the controversy they caused. Apparently Dungy and Fisher were communicating during the game and Indy basically gave the game to the Titans, especially at the end when they could've caused problems by calling a timeout. Had they won, my Browns would be in the playoffs and the Titans wouldn't. I'm rooting for Jacksonville. I really could care less about the NFC though. To me, the conference sucks and it doesn't matter who make it because they can't match with any AFC team in the playoffs besides Pittsburgh and Tennessee. I think it will be Indy with a win over Dallas.

I'm a Browns fan before I'm a Cinci fan so I can see where you are coming from. I wanted to see the Browns in the playoffs too but only because I thought my Steelers would have a better chance at beating them :) Thanks for the comment.
