These days sports persons have forgotten the spirit of sportsmanship.. or so it appears from the recent tiffs that we have seen in the India australia series...
It is quite shameful the way things are turning up.. all in the name of 'racial abuse'? I think it is quite childish how the whole thing has been blown out of proportion by all concerned. Suspicious umpiring has also given the whole match a very bad name...
And they call cricket a Gentleman's game!!!

I think there is no sportsmanship left in this so called Gentlemen's game. Harbhajan is punished without any proof. they are abusing us racially. They are taking advantage in nasty way and are winning games in whatever way it means. They should not act like 'Cry Babies'. Do they kniow how to behave when they tell other teams in name of their parents and all?

you know subha, just today, Ajay Jadeja had commented on this issue.. according to him, Australians are one of the masters when it comes to verbal abuse. So what the hell are they cribbing about so much?? i am glad that bcci is taking a tough stance. it is better to abandon the play and come back home just to register our protest.

Australian Team of Benud, Chappels are totally different from the present day team. It goes by the leader. If the leader is arrogant and lack the public grace, his followers follow the suit. It is the same thing with Ricky pointing - highly arrogant and indecent player I have ever seen in 30 years. The success has gone into their head and it breeds arrogance and scant respect for the game.
Cricket is a gentleman's sport and it not longer is.

You are correct about the arrogance of the Australians... When sachin got his century, it seems the whole stadium, irrespective of nationality, stood up and cheered, but just a couple of australian players applauded... Ricky ponting was obviously not among them... quite a blemish to the world of sport, i would say..
