The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended its tour of Australia pending the outcome of an appeal for suspended spinner Harbhajan Singh . "The Board will appeal to the International Cricket Council to review the decision of the Match Referee and suspend its operation till the appeal is disposed of," the BCCI said in a statement released on Monday. Hi all, this is the news that is in Rediff. I think this is the step we wanted from BCCI. thansk a alot BCCI.

The tour has been halted until further reply from ICC but not suspended rite now. Rightly so... they've asked the players to stay in Sydney until Harbhajan issue is cleared & that too in favour of Harbhajan as there's no evidence against him. Its good as there's no guarantee that if the tour goes on with Harbhajan playing toobut he may get the ban later. So definitely its a big step... strong move and needs to be done so to remove those racist charges against Harbhajan when there's no evidence at all.

The assies are arrogant lot though the same cannot be said of their spectators. The team is a drunken with sucess treats all other teams with scant respect. It is good that team India should get the steve buckner to the \umpiring of high school grade cricket. He knows nothing or ageing is having its impact on umpiring.

Hello, subha! this is definitely a good decision of BCCI.but it would not solve the problem.the ICC should take a firm decision on the issue.and save Bhaji from the punishment and at the same time it should take action against Symonds.at the same time the ICC should take appropriate action against all the umpires of second test.thank you.

Good.. Good...Good... Glad the bcci has taken this tough step. Bajji needs to be cleared of this unfair charge.
