How to connect pc with laptop?  |

 I want to know the procedure to connect my pc with my laptop.
I have wifi in my laptop. Will it be possible if i upgrade with a wifi card in my pc so that i can connect wirelessly? Will streaming be possible?

| 1. erictan (28) | 2 years ago |  YOu can connect your pc with your laptop through LAN (local area network),before that surely you need to buy LAN cable..Or connect through bluetooth but i not recomended this..while the procedure is you need to set up an account for LAN in my network places..thats all..i don't really understand your second question..so there is no answers for it..what i know is a computer want to online must have a server..where a connection between our computer and our server to make us online..

2. gazofnaz70 (15)  | 2 years ago | you can do it wirelessly, maybe cheaper to get a crossover cable though as ad-hoc wi-fi is quite difficult. a crossover cable and change the IP addresses of the LAN Cards is cheap and easy. If you need any help let me know, i am an IT assistant and am glad to guide you through it.

The best option is to buy a wireless USB. You can set it to just the laptop and PC but will probably be easier to get a wireless router.
Remember though whatever you do to add security ie WPA2 (NOT WEP - Easily cracked and does not encrypt the data) | |

| johnyan1 (18) | 2 years ago |  wireless router is not really needed if she just want to connect laptop with desktop. After you installed wifi card on your desktop, point-to-point mode can make your laptop connect to your pc.

if ur prefered physical connection u can go through crossover cable...to connect crossover cable the color code are
1-3
2-6
if u prefered wireless networking
just add a wifi card to ur desktop
then go to wireless access point and configured as a host-host configuretion. | |
