Is mylot just slow or what???

It seems to me that not all computers can hold up to mylot....i have had so many issues with it in the fact that it takes so long to load. Is there something i can do about it or is it just cause there is so much information on here and the pictures take so long to load?? Anyone else having issues--im at the library right now and its even slow here????

Could be that the computer connection is slow, as I don't experience that here. It also depends on how much the computer's memory can store, so you also have to check and delete the cookies.
I am using DSL, it's faster compared to DIAL-UPs..

I don't know if the site is slow itself, but sometimes when I first open the site it's kinda slow, but now it's okay, maybe it just takes 10 secs to load
