1. lucgeta (791) | 2 years ago | Seems there is a tool in the xp that do that for you, except that you need to work your system a bit. More explanation on www.aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.php
My experience tells me to back up your data and write down any piece of configuration you need most - like network or license keys. Hope all goes well, keep me posted.

2. goalkeeper (240) | 2 years ago | hello sania, i don't think itz possible to convert your XP installed drive from fat32 to NTFS without reinstalling your Windows XP. because file system converting are followed by formatting. You cant be able to used the converted(NTFS or fat32)drive without formatting the said drive. I suggest to reinstall your XP then convert your drive to NTFS files system.

4. zxtzxt (174) | 2 years ago | retract is right...just follow his instructions and you're all set.
Take note tho that you can not convert back to fat32 without reformatting but I guess no one wants to go back to fat32.

7. Asylum (3387) | 2 years ago | You can convert the file system via the Command window, although I do not know anyone who has actually done this. Personally I would reformat the computer if I was changing the file system. Click on the Start menu and select Run, then type in CMD and press enter. In the window that opens type CONVERT HELP, which will provide the basic details for the conversion process.
