 I just finished watching the Rob Zombie Halloween Remake. I don't think it was a bad movie; there was good acting, scary mask, good story. But it is SOOO har for me to enjoy a movie that has a lot of unnecissary gore, violence, nudity, bad langauge...and this movie had a lot of that. I just think the movie would have been 10 times better if it wasn't so graphic! Don't directors realize the real movie fans don't want all that stuff, they want to be able to enjoy a movie for its other aspects!

Hhmm well I'm a "real" movie fan..have been for yrs and I enjoy graphic scenes, blood, guts and gore..Besides its not only a horror flick BUT its a ROB ZOMBIE horror flick..you have to expect it to be out there when it comes to that sort of thing..Its Rob Zombie!
I actually own a copy of Zombies Halloween and I think it was a pretty tame movie really...also a brilliant one as far as I'm concerned...

2.  brimia (6187) | 2 years ago |  Yeah, I wouldn't have watched that movie to begin with. I would expect all those things from a Rob Zombie movie. I don't mind some horror flicks but, like you, I'm turned off when there's too much gore and graphic scenes and language. That's why I like a lot of the old horror movies like Hitchcock. They're eerie and creepy but still leave a lot to the imagination.

3.  suspenseful (17042) | 2 years ago |  I do not like many of the new movies, and I remember the old Halloween Movie was much better done. It seems when they do a remake, they mess it up, and make to for the lower elements. You expect lots of gore and violence, but do you expect all that nudity and filthy language, especially in a horror movie, where the plot consists of people fleeing from their lives, hiding, and the serial killer/monster looking for them and killing them in horrible gruesome ways?

I am often disappointed by remakes of the great thrillers; but there are two originals AND remakes I can reccomend right now! When A Stranger Calls and The Hitcher. The Hitcher sticks pretty much to the original, almost scene from scene. Except there is an added main character, but he only adds to the movie. | |

Many of us actually love all the gore and violence
I think as a director/producer he is doing a great job of giving his viewers what they want
If you dont like all the gore I highly suggest you stay clear of anything done by Rob Zombie LOL
