slow cooker?

i have just got myself a slowcooker as we dont have room for a normall oven in my kitchen but im struggling to find dishes apart from soup and stew that i can make in there without having to fry off the meat or other ingredients beforehand, does anyone have any recipes for me to try?

www.reynoldskitchens.com has a recipe section...they make slow cooker bags to stave off the mess...
you can make a pot roast by letting the roast simmer in there for a long time with some onion soup - then serve on rolls for sandwiches

That is a really great idea to have slowcook bags in order to prevent accidents and messes. Yeah, I love pot roast and homemade mashed potatoes. I also enjoy making beef stew. In order to make the stew, just bake up sliced up beef. Also add diced up onions, peppers, salt and pepper, carrots, potatoes, celery, beef broth, and brown rice. I would also add beef flavor cubes.

There ae tons of things you can make in the crockpot. A frend of mine totally lived off crockpot meals for three months. They had enchiladas, roast, chiken and dumplings, a quiche type meal for brunch, pulled pork and pulled chicken bar-b-que, cabbage and sausage, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, sweetish meatballs, sweet n sour meatballs, man the options are really endless. Anything you can cook in the oven, or in a covered pan on the stove will work in the crock pot. There are several great recipe books out there, you could check on eBay or half.com, or try allrecipes.com

Yeah, crockpots are great to have. I do have my own crockpot. I use it to cook supper as well as oven and stove. I make chili, beef stew, and sausage, peppers, and onions, via slowcooking. Yeah, you can look up recipes online to find what you exactly want. I know that your kitchen is real small. You can cook all kinds of stuff in your crockpot.
