Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody... Best song ever written?

I love that song too... It's unique and doesn't get boring as the time goes by. Definitely a classic and most people's favorite.

I also like the song Bohemian Rhapsody, but I don't know if its the best song ever written.

Officemates performed like a band and lip sing the song several years ago in a program, since then I appreciated the song everytime it is played. I also try singing the song on the magic sing but can't sing it well. I guess I would just like to listen to it.

Well it's not THE best song ever written. There are a lot of songs out there including most of QUEEN's songs that can be considered great songs.

But since Queen and Freddie Mercury is one of my top 5 all-time favorite groups, I will agree with you. Hehehe.

Freddie Mercury's gotta be one of the most GIFTED singer and song writer. I love the lyrics and arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody" that's why I wince when some American Idol or any contestant try to do their own version of the song 'cuz ... I feel it gets ruined. - it's like someone trying to play the guitar riffs of "Stairway to Heaven" for me. I feel like winging the person - hehehe.

I'm sorry, nobody can beat the original.

Poetry & I think voted Song of the Decade). It has been a Whie since I read the
Great Stuff Written about B.R.

For me its hard to find a song that tops Bohemian Rhapsody, as already said it got it all, so many different genre in just one song, and no doubt Freedy is one of the Worlds best singer of all time, can only think of one that come close and thats elvis. its hard to explain just what Queen got, but if you look at live aid from 86, theres a lot of really great bands playing at wembly, but NO one comes close to Queen, I have never seen a single band controling a crowd like Queen and Freedy does, every time i watch the dvd it gives me goosebumps like no othere band or singer have ever given me before. I remember when Freddy died, i got a t-shirt whit the front page from "the sun" and it just says "The King is dead" and a picture of Freddy standing with hes arms out whering a kings robe and a crown, for me that says it all, he was and still is THE king, dont think there ever will be a singer with the same charisma as Freddy. And Freddy might be one of the best singers and song writer, but then add Roger Taylor, John Deacon and Bryan may, and u got some of the best musicians of all time.
