 I am so mad at J.K.rowling because she killed hedwig (harrys owl) that was mean she killed to many people in the 7th book i mean theres hedwig snap george lupin tonkes dobbey (the house elf that harry freed in the 2nd book) crab(malfoys friend) mad-eyemoodey and voldamort which im not that sad about and a lot more she said that she would onley kill 2 main charactors and i am not afraid to admit it but i cryed when dumbledore died in the 6th book and when sirius died in the 5th book that just was wrong that was harrys onley family left tell me what you think.

I read in an interview that the death of Hedwig was a like a symbolism for the transition from innocence to maturity... remember that Hedwig was first introduced during the first book and it was a gift from Hagrid... so it was like Harry was transfromed into an instant adult when whe lost his first and only connection to the wizarding world when he was with the Dursley's...

| 5. darksome (24) | 4 months ago | seriously, when I saw sirius die in the film it was much more dramatic and really sad as well...I am yet to read the last book...the way dumbledore died was so quick and cruel, i don't think i will be able to bear watching it on the movie...or all the upcoming deaths for that matter. | |
