In am a member of many organizations that issue online petitions to help the wildlife (Greenpeace, WWF, NRDC, Defenders of Wildlife, etc.).
In the past, I've posted many online petitions to help wildlife, but I was very disappointed because some of them remained without a response, while many received only one or two responses.
What I'm trying to see with this post is if someone is still interested in doing something good for the nature with a simple click from the warmth of their home.
If at least one person will tell me that she/he wants to read and maybe sign such petitions, I'll be very pleased - it means that someone cares.

You are a very busy person as I see. This idea is a great idea if it is followed by the right people. In the past I have post some discussions about nature but the reaction wasn't like I expected. You can post as many as you want to make people think about their future in this world.

What I don't really understand is why myLot doesn't agree with this kind of discussions... Of course, they say not to post discussions on petitions generally, and I partially understand that, some petitions may be on delicate or controversial topics, but I think they should encourage nature/wildlife/environment petitions rather than oppose them.
Anyway, I'm taking the chances in getting those discussions deleted. Just yesterday I started another discussion of this kind. If you're interested, you can find it in the "panda.org" interest.

I think its a wonderful idea to post these petitions. I receive some in my email and in actuality I am surprised at how informative they are. I wouldn't know about some of these issues is they weren't brought to my attention. Once I am aware of the plight of some wildlife and other issues, I am glad to respond to them.

Since you have posted an online petition since this, I hope that means you'll continue to do so. I have no money to give so I'm more than happy to support any environmental/wildlife group by signing petitions or writing letters.

As you probably saw on the Polar Bear discussion, myLot does not agree to this kind of actions, so I really don't know what to do...
Should I continue and risk of getting the discussion reported? I guess that will be worth it if I get at least one more person to sign a geed petition before getting the discussion deleted...
