Meet "snicketty" the primitive kitty.. |
| |
| Have you ever wanted to do something, but held yourself back from doing what you would like or had your heart set on because of what others would think or people saying its not a good idea?Did you finally get up the gumption to do it anyway and how did it turn out? Were you happy that you did it?I make alot of crafts here at home as a hobby for awhile now and thought of maybe maiking some money out of what i make,my mom thinks its a good idea but my boyfriend doesnt think people buy this stuff and thinks im well,i don't have a good idea.I see this stuff sell on e-bay alot and finally im thinking of selling this old antique looking primitive kitty i made this week. What do you think? What would you pay for it let's say because the bidding starts at $0.00 or either i can set a starting amount which i think is better than getting $1.00 for my hard work, haha! Its the first time for me,so maybe wish me luck:)At least i tried right?! | | snicketty | | | | |

| | Hello peanutjar! :) I really like your antiqued kitten. I think that you did a great job with it and I can think of no reason why you shouldn't try to sell it on ebay. Like you say, though, I think that you should be paid for your efforts, and not just accept a low price. I don't know what these sorts of crafts go for, so I am afraid to offer a price, but I certainly think that people will be interested in such a thing and I hope all the best for you (and hope to hear more about it!) :) | | | | | | |

| | eBay is nerve wracking sometimes, peanut. I am always afraid to list too low and risk not getting what I should get, but I'm also afraid to risk listing too high and scaring people off. It takes time to figure it all out. Just remember, you can always change it through out the auction as long as their are no bids. | | | |

| | You do have to put a starting bid, but you can always change it as long as no one has bid on it. so, if you're doing a 7 day auction, put at it $15 and in a couple of days if you have no bids, then lower the price. I used to sell a lot of stuff on ebay and sometimes I had to list things three or four times before they would sell. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't sell right away, okay? I'm sure more than one person will look at it and think it's perfect. ;) | | | |

| | peanut, you are never, ever bothering me. a link is just what you had there.... the www.whatever.com. click on this link and it will bring you to the ebay website. www.ebay.com if you were to cut the web address out of your browser at hte top of the page and paste it in to your discussion response, it would link you to that spot. here is the link to this discussion. http://www.mylot.com/nr/n... i hope this all made sense. if not, let me know and i'll see if i can explain better. | | | |

| | I started teaching myself to quilt and my Mom really wanted me to sell them on Ebay. I sold a couple but decided it wasn't really what I wanted to do. My Hubby tells me all the time that I could sell them for good money while my Mom likes me to make them as gifts for family members. As a matter of fact, I'm supposed to be working on one right now... If you put your heart and soul into something and you enjoy doing it...do it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. If it flops at least you know it flops and you can move on but how will you know if you don't try. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~ | | | | | | |
