Does the presence of adsense cause readers to leave?  |

 Something that was mentioned in another conversation was that according to one responder the presence of adsense on a blog caused him and his friends to leave and not read a blog. The implication was that the mere presence of adsense indicated that the blog was "for profit" and not worth reading.
This comment has been nagging at me since it was said. One I don't make any money off of the adsense on my blog, and two I have tried my best to keep it relatively unseen on my blog. On the other hand, I am not above accepting income if it happens to occur.
So if you are looking at new blogs, does the mere presence of adsense make you quit reading? Or was this person the exception rather than the rule?

Almost all blogs and websites have ads. May be your friend or that person who gave the comment is not used to it. Keep on!

2.  berryliciousme (725) | 2 years ago |  It actually depends on how you placed these ads. What annoys me are ads used as line breaks. Wherein the ads are placed within the body of the text itself. Ads placed on the side and above or below the text is acceptable.
For me, it's really the content of the blog that matters more. Keep up writing good articles and surely, more people would be interested in reading your blog. I notice that most blog have adsense, including mine, so do not worry about it.

Even before I started my blog and put the adsense ads on there, I read plenty of blogs and other websites that have adsense on them and I never really thought anything about them. I only hate the sites that load slowly and have pop-up ads on them.
