mental health?

is mental illness still a stigma or is it getting over rated? i have a mental illness and it seems i didnt know much about the illness when i first got sick.but lately it seems everyone is on medications for one reason or another.there are alot of movie about it now and commercials.everyone i know has someone they know with a mental illness.are the doctor making money making people think they are sick.

I think this is one good thing in todays society, we talk about things, and with a lot of mental illnesses it can be just a chemical imbalance which can happen to anyone, I think with the internet and people actually talking about things instead of hiding things we all seem to know that these things happen and everything illness is common around the world and i think we all learn compassion from the knowledge we pick up...
