Love handle exercises

Hey all I would love to hear any suggestions for toning the core part of my body. My love handles and my abs. I have a good tape that I really enjoy working out to but it is in the process of being turned into a dvd. I have a couple of exercises but i find they don't last very long. Plus any good ab exercises as well. thanks

I have had two different trainers recommend the same exercise to me for love handles. I can tell you for sure that I was sore for days after beginning the exercise! Sit on a bench. Take a broom or some other stick and place it behind your head and across your shoulders. Reach up and hold it from below with your elbows out. Proceed to bend as far possible to the left, come back to the center and then bend as far possible to the right. Do this 8 times on each side. It really does help work those muscles underneath the love handle area and tighten the area! Good luck!

I will try this for sure thanks so much. I have three others that I do And let me tell you i feel it under my love handles as well as deep in my abs...Its working different muscles thats for sure...thanks again for the reponse!
