Despite its amicable intentions and its child enticing charm, "The Last Mimzy" doubtlessly fails at making a wholly entertaining film. As a rental it may satisfy in a modest manner, for it holds charming attributes. Yet, if you're searching for a child film that holds stellar stuff.. this magic movie will disappoint.
"The Last Mimzy" is the tale of two children that gain the ability to foster their special talents, after having found a mysterious container full of toys. Soon these kids, their parents, plus their teacher are plunged into a tale of an exploration of facets from a world of which they have little knowledge of. An adventure that allowed them to experience situations, filled with magical aspects.
This film is a production that told a provocative story, which at its end leaves you unfulfilled. The acting was disjointed. Leaving plenty of room for believability. The story lacks credibility, any humor relief, and fun in the adventure.
Also, the soundtrack was wrongly produced. It failed to aid in setting the proper mood..
At its conclusion, the commendable message and the charming magic, is lost inside of the uninteresting continuum.
How did you find "The Last Mimzy" to be?
