speed of mylot

dear friends, I have thought of asking you this question many a times. but couldnot find times. I have ever wondered what speed of the computer processor will be sufficient for speedy operation of mylot webpages.
I use a 2.8 GGZ 512 MB RAM system. yet it takes a lot of times to load a page of mylot and really a boring affair for me to wait and wait while my brain is running through thousands of various thoughts to write in this forum.
Finally I succumb to the boredom and leave wihtout writing much or anything at all.
I know you all also feel the same way with the speed of loading of mylot pages.
Be brave and come out with great voice supporting this.

well its not like that , actually it is because of the huge database it is maintaining and specially because of the asp.net designing , as my past experience says sites developed in asp.net are much slower as compared to html or php

Correct you are. PHP/HTML works faster than this .NET sites. Obviously, huge traffic load/big database simply adding to this problem. But now it has improved a lot. At the time of posting it was painfully slow.
