This is a comedian that I absolutely forgot time when his program was on television. The tears that flowed down my face from laughing could have created a river. His skits were always clean cut and no cussing. He has always been my favorite comedian and I wish he was still on today. On the last televised program he did the comment he made was that you don't have to cuss or get dirty when you are playing before a audience. That you can do clean cut stuff and still get your point across and have people laughing. Now I know that the younger people probably don't know who I am talking about but if you had had the opportunity to see this comedian you would have loved him. Anyone who knows who I am talking about and has seen him in action tell me what you think?

I wasn't sure whether anyone would remember this king of comedy. But he sure was a high star in my life. I loved him and watched him all the time. That is one that I had not heard. I will have to go on the search engine and see if I can locate it. I would like to hear it the way he recited it. He always put such heart and soul into what he did.

Mizrae-
Thank you so much for that link. I went to it soon as I got here and got to your response. It sent chills down my spine listening to that. Red Skelton was a unique and great comedian. I am putting that link in my folder file in my email area. That way I will always have it to open up and not only view that one of Red Skelton but also the other ones that are there.

I miss him a lot also. I loved everyone of his stunts and he was tops on having a clean cut show that you didn't have to worry about the kids being able to watch him because he never did anything that a child could not watch. One of the greatest of the greats. In my book he was a shining star and will never fade.

Our family used to watch him all the time. It was nice that the whole family could enjoy a show together. I have one of his shows or a collection of shows on DVD. I have not played it in a long while. I should get it out and let my children see this man in action. The other one I loved was Jonathan Winters.

I miss Red Skelton and the specialness he had of bringing laughter to the audience. You could look at his face and see that he had a love of making people laugh. It came from his heart and I for one miss the kind of comedian he was. There has been no other comedian that has touched me the way he did.
I liked Jonathan Winters also but he was a different cast than Red Skelton. He also was funny but I have never found another comedian that I felt was as funny as Red Skelton.

He would keep me in stitches the whole time I was watching him. I still chuckle when he comes to mind now. He definitely new how to come across and get a good old deep laugh from people.
