The Merriam Webster online dictionary defines an introvert as - to turn inward or in upon itself as; to concentrate or direct upon oneself. Based upon this definition what type of career would fit that of an introvert? Most people who say any which does not require ongoing face to face contact, perhaps that of a data entry person or a website designer. In reality people must work in the careers available to them and the good part of the human spirit is our ability to adapt. Introverts who can adapt may display and use extroverted tendencies as a coping mechanism to deal with public activities. What do you think?
