Why are some people so crazy about keeping up with the lastest fashion?

I think it depends of how the person views themselves. They think if I wear this brand of clothing or shoes a certain celebrity wears, then people will think highly of me. I for one am a fashion major and will not look at celebrity for the latest fashion because I know that most of them have stylist. I think it's better for people to go out and see what's in the stores and what looks good on them. if a basic t-shirt and jeans looks good on you, then great! I so sick of people trying to be like everyone else. For those Sean John outfits....that name is just a label, people are (looking at) buying the label rather than the clothes.

It is the interest in life - in all its perspectives to be part of a new thing Chance is the essence of life. Desire to look better by using the latest trend, to attract more people. To say, "what you do not have, I have it", leading to mass influence and increase consumerism. There could be any number of factors.
