Online or In Person?  

i prefer playing with people in person rather than online poker... i guess it's more interesting that way... and we can play anywhere... we don't really need a table for it. my friends and i, we even tried it on the bed, the floor, and the weirdest place ever? in a coffee shop wherein a lot of people were watching...

I don't mind playing online. But I prefer to play live. Its much more interesting. We just play on a regular card table. Or wherever we can. I haven't played in a long time. I need to find time to invite some friends over and play.

I love poker! LOL Personally I play mostly online, and I usually stick with Hold em and Omaha Hi. I tend to prefer Sit n gos, but I will participate in larger tournaments too. I've played a few times in person, but boy is it different! My husband on the other hand, hates playing online, and loves to play in person. He won like 1,000 bucks from a tournament the last time we were there. Now if I could do that, I would play more live poker! LOL

I play online quite a bit, but I could never play in person. I have THE WORST poker face ever! I tend to laugh when I'm nervous and bite my lip when I'm lying no matter how hard I try not to.
Oh well..at least when I play online people can't hear all the nasty things I call them when they call my bluff LOL.

My husband and I are both avid Texas Hold'em players. We have both played both online and in real life. But, as you mentioned, we both have our preferences. He would rather play in real life, at a table, where he can look at everyone's faces. And when he gets the opportunity to do this he is a force to be reckoned with. He's very good at it.
I however, prefer the online sites. I don't do so well at the real tables but online I am very good. I'm not the best but I'm working on it. I don't always win but I often do. I also like tournament style better than regular play and my husband is the opposite.
