I was surprised to see that the politicians in Toronto have agreed on the idea of an all black school. I have mixed feelings on that. Sure, it's a good idea for the blacks to be proud of their culture, perhaps that isn't being taught properly in the schools today. On the other hand I'm concerned if we have separate schools for different cultures couldn't that result in separatism and prejudice. Which really concerns me. Any thoughts on this one?

I am not bias in any way but I have always wondered here in the USA why we have a united negro collage and that is ok but if we were to open an united white collage all heck would break loose, they want to be accepted and than at the same time they want to segerate themselfes I guess I just cant figgure it out.

That sounds like the age old question. If your fat we want to be thin, if we've got curly hair we want to have straight. My real concern on this matter is that wasn't there something called civil rights in the u.s. where they had terrible riots so that blacks could integrate into white schools. Now, we're opening black schools. It sounds like a circle to me that might become dangerous.
