Do Corpse bleed?

I think it depends of the freshness of the corpse but mostly it would bleed.

At first they would, but once they're at the funeral parlour, that's where they do the embalming on the corpse. They insert a needle/tube into the carotid artery and then out again through the jugular vein, draining the body of all its blood, and filling it with embalming fluid instead

what a horrible question. i don't think they will bleed because blood will congeal when people die. i have never seen what happens to a corpse when it is stabbed or cut but i've seen what happens to a dead chicken or pig. i can't find blood bleeding from them.

Having done this before (pre-med), I can tell you no, and yes. Pooled blood will spill out of the body (if you get it while it is fresh, before the blood dries and before the body putrefies - otherwise it will be something else altogether that spills out), but it requires the heart to pump the blood for the body to actively bleed.

Some would leak out if you stabbed it in the side, but not much beacause there is no circulation.

No the corpse will not bleed after sometime as the blood clots. that's why the body loses its warmth and becomes cold after death. How else could a postmortem take place if the dead body bleeds while cutting open?
