D'oh I'm getting tired, meant to read, what's the BETTING if charges are brought against him, he'll blame her for obstructing HIM or something equally stupid!

I know exactly what you mean honey - my first reaction was to burst into fits of laughter but then I read what happened and thought if that were my Gran I would be fuming! Charges should be brought against the man - not because he hit her neccesarily but because he went and left her there - he could have tried to get her help!

To an elderly lady any injury can be serious and I just cannot believe that anyone has anything that is so urgent they would not even try and get her help but would leave her lying in the road! I do pray she will be ok and if I hear any updates I will let you know! xxx

Well there won't be hospital bills as we have the nhs but he should pay some form of compensation! I know as the guy was in a mobility scooter he may not personally have been able to help her physically but he could have gotten help and reassured her - heck he didn't even apologise! xxxx

Well said my angel! No it wasn't me, not yet anyway and I wouold like to think if I did have an accident like that I would at least try and get some help and not just keep going! Mind you next time you see mobility scooter in the heading of one of my discussions it will probably be that I have knocked over a whole display in the supermarket! xxx

But guess what I do not need a Mobility Scooter for that a trolley does me for that hehehehe xxx

I think it is very sad that people feel they are too busy to help someone that they have caused injury to - specially an elderly lady who is probably very lucky not to be more seriously hurt - I just cannot understand the lack of compassion or any sense of responsibility for their actions! xxx

Some people are so dangerous even in something as slow as a motor scooter! As far as I know you don't get safety courses - I have to use either one of these or a wheelchair to go to the supermarket and I have to say they are really easy to stop - this guy should be left stuck at home for a while - Grounded_ and maybe then he'd be more careful! xxx

here here ground him and take away his scooter for a week,LOL!!

Sweety I couldn't stop laughing until I realised that an elderly lady had been injured and left lying in the road as the driver thought he was in too much of a rush to stop or get her help! If that was my Gran I would be livid! I am just glad it was a man that did it and people couldn#t blame me - yep I have to use these to get round the supermarket and I tell you what if I didn't have steps outside my house I would get around in one! xxx

Oh and I am so glad that you made it here nova - I love your way with words! Bella and I think he should have his scooter taken away for a week and be grounded! LMAO He would probably start bleating about his human rights then - as though his rights are the only ones that matter - as you said so well - ARSE! xxxx
