Hotels on the Disney Property...Worth the Extra Money??

Well worth the money. I have been twice and have stayed at Disney resorts both times. They are simply amazing. The first time we stayed at the French Quarter. It was pretty cool; it has its own pool, I think with a dragon slide thing. The restaurants are in the teme of mardi gras. Pretty sweet. The next time we stayed at Coranado Springs or something like that. It was awesome. It had like two pools, a lake like thing to fish. It was pretty huge. The dining was awesome. I liked this one the best. You are right the atmosphere is absolutley awesome in the resorts. I have family that went and stayed off the resort. They did not like it near as much.

I have stayed at the Shades Of Green resort that is for military. It was really nice. I also stayed at a hotel just outside, but within walking distance to the Disney Boardwalk. This was when the Shades Of Green went through renovation. Disney used that hotel for military during that time. I believe that was in 2003. I want to say it was the Wyndahm but I can't remember right now.
I love staying on the property personally.
